January 15, 2010 AZ TBF Members, As 2009 closed our organization has not been immune from the effects of the state’s economic condition. At the December meeting Dave Hagan (President) and Mike Hagan (Secretary) announced their resignations citing economic effect, time commitment, and the distraction from his business. This left the executive board with two vacancies and two special committee officers’ positions of Conservation and Sponsorship needing to be filled for 2010. I’ve taken on the role of President of the AZ Federation understanding that we are not in a rebuild or reposition stasis, but in a move forward and grow cycle. As the dust settles from the meeting Monday night and the opportunity to become more acclimated with what is planned for 2010 impresses upon me positively our events will be smooth and enjoyable. The monthly meetings are open to all members and the membership is encouraged to attend, be heard, and participate. This year I will be making an effort to attend individual club meetings getting to know more of you, building a better bond, and listening to your ideas. Please check the website as this will be your online source of information for your Federation. In closing I am asking for active AZ Bass Federation members to fill the open board position of Secretary and specialty positions of Conservation, and Sponsorship. Those of you who have moved away from AZ Bass Federation and would like to revisit or rejoin please look at the “Arizona Clubs” tab on the website. Clubs are located across the state and your membership, participation, contribution, and competitive nature are welcome. Good Times, Greg Krueger President AZ Bass Federation
