Hello All,

As our hot weather begins to come to a close for 2010 it is time for baseball playoffs, football, and the 2^nd half of the season for The Bass Federation-AZ.  I hope the past couple of months have been good to all of you.  During our break the executive board met and began distributing the fliers for the Open Tournament on October 16^th at Roosevelt.  If you do not have an entry form you can pick these up at several of local tackle stores and boat repair shops or at www.AZBASSFEDERATION.com.

Our next meeting will be on September 13, 2010 at 7:00pm at Denny’s on University / 143.  Meetings are usually one hour, but I expect this to take longer this time as the agenda is a little longer this time.  I would very much like it if as many of the federation members would attend as possible.  The room will hold 60 people representing a majority of the total membership and we can get more done in one fell swoop versus dragging topics over three meetings.

The main topics of this next meeting will have to do with youth, state team, possible new team circuit, donations, raffle structure, vacating and empty board positions, and a structural plan for 2011.  I would like to see as many of you as possible at this next meeting.  For those of you in Tucson or Havasu I am open to you calling in or texting in and participating.  In the near future those of you who are out of town will be able to participate in our meeting live streaming video.  The Bass Federation will continue to grow in 2010 and expand in 2011.
